What is TaggyText?
TaggyText is a micro-messaging service. When posting to TaggyText, you use a tag, a name and a message. Here are some examples:

How do I post a message?
Go to TaggyText and type in a tag, a name and a message.
How do I view messages?
On TaggyText you view messages that share the same tag. To view all the messages for a tag go to TaggyText and type in a tag. To filter a tag for certain names go to TaggyText, type in a tag and type in one or more names separated by commas.
How does filtering work?
When viewing messages, you can filter the tag for names. The names in the filter affect which messages you see. Here are some examples:
sanfrancisco with no filter: sanfrancisco sanfrancisco filtered for Bill: sanfrancisco(Bill) sanfrancisco filtered for Bill, Jenny and Jeff: sanfrancisco(Bill, Jenny, Jeff)
Buying Individual Names
You can buy names for your TaggyText account. Each name you buy only works with a single tag. For example, if you buy the name "Jenny" for the tag "sanfrancisco" then only you can post messages using the name "Jenny" and the tag "sanfrancisco".
Can I post messages even if I don't have an account?
Yes, you can post messages without signing up.
Is there an Adobe AIR app for TaggyText?

Can I edit my messages?
Yes, if you sign up you can edit and delete messages.
How long can a message be?
Messages can be up to 180 characters long.
What is the URL for a tag?
You can link to a tag using URLs like this: http://taggytext.com/tag
What is the URL for a filtered tag?
Link to a filtered tag like this: http://taggytext.com/tag?names=[names]
